Full Job Description
Primary Responsibilities of the Role
  • Prepare complex fiduciary income tax returns, including Form 1041 and related state fiduciary income tax returns.
  • Preparation of estate tax returns, i.e., Form 706, and supporting schedules, including reaching out to other professionals and/or clients as needed to gather information.
  • Prepare gift tax returns, including Form 709, gift allocation schedules, GST exemption allocation reporting, and related disclosures.
  • Analyze trust documents to determine tax reporting requirements.
  • Assist with income distribution deduction calculations, distributable net income calculations, beneficiary reporting, and Schedule K-1 preparation.
  • Assist with post-death tax compliance, including decedent final individual income tax returns, estate income tax returns, and coordination of estate administration tax matters.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth (HNW) individuals and family entities is highly preferred.
  • Prepare tax projections and related estimated payments.
  • Research and consult with management on various client-related tax matters.
  • Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.
  • Develop and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other client deliverables as needed.


Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Masters in Taxation a plus
  • Working towards or licensed as a CPA.
  • 3+ years of experience as a tax professional
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong accounting skills required.
  • Experience using CCH Axcess tax software is a plus.


Salary Pay Scale
  • This position's salary range is $100,000 - $140,000.
