Position Summary:

Your Impact (Essential Duties):
Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and consolidated tax returns
Review associates’ and interns’ tax returns, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and support growth
Perform and review quarterly and annual accounting procedures to prepare financial records for tax purposes
Identify organizational structures and related entities for tax implications and big-picture impacts
Ensure accurate and complete data for filings, identifying and communicating missing information
Calculate quarterly and annual estimated tax liabilities accurately
Conduct tax planning to identify opportunities for improvement and added value for clients
Research and resolve complex tax issues, providing guidance and recommendations
Communicate effectively with team members and clients, providing updates and addressing questions
Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns to enhance team performance and skill development
Contribute to team efforts by assisting with projects and engaging in collaborative problem-solving
Stay updated on tax laws and best practices through ongoing training and independent learning
Manage engagements efficiently, meeting deadlines, particularly during high-demand periods
Perform other duties and displays flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership  
Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual performance and overall firm productivity
Your Background:
3-5 years of experience in tax preparation
CPA license or eligible
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
In-depth understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Proficiency in tax preparation software and accounting tools
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and document reviews
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Analytical skills to solve complex tax issues and understand broader financial implications
Leadership and mentoring abilities to supervise and develop junior staff
Full-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlines

California compensation range for this role is $76,000 - $100,000.

Colorado compensation range for this role is $76,000 - $100,000.

Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Discretionary incentive compensation is based on firm, group, and individual performance.
