The RoleAs a senior leader within the tax practice, you will oversee both
technical tax work and client advisory relationships while helping guide the development of the firm's tax team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing tax compliance and planning for business entities, high-net-worth individuals, and estates
- Reviewing and approving complex tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Providing strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients
- Mentoring and developing staff and managers within the tax department
- Maintaining and strengthening long-term client relationships
- Staying current with federal and state tax law changes and implementing best practices
- Supporting firm leadership with practice growth and operational improvements
Qualifications- CPA license required
- 10+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing engagements
- Proven leadership ability and experience mentoring staff
- Excellent client relationship and advisory skills
- Master's in Taxation (preferred but not required)
