Full Job Description
Main responsibilities:

  • Prepare corporate income tax returns for Canadian entities and support the review process;
  • Assist with the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns and forms for U.S. and European entities;
  • Prepare R&D tax credit claims in both Canada and the U.S.;
  • Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual tax provisions, related journal entries, and continuity schedules;
  • Prepare tax files in the context of internal and external audits for group companies;
  • Work closely with the internal professional team to prepare various required tax forms and calculations for an internationally active group, such as T106, T1134, surplus calculations, etc.;
  • Review and analyze information required to ensure federal and provincial income tax compliance;
  • Conduct tax research on various topics related to Canadian and international income taxes, indirect taxes, and taxable benefits;
  • Support the preparation of information and documentation required for tax audits conducted by tax authorities;
  • Assist corporate departments and business units by providing tax-related information, analyses, and documentation;
  • Participate in special projects, such as acquisitions and corporate reorganizations;
  • Contribute to due diligence projects related to business acquisitions or divestitures.
