As a Targeting Analyst, you'll support the processes and professionals who connect strategic intent to tactical execution - contributing to one of the most consequential workflows in joint military operations.
Working alongside experienced targeters at Combatant Commands (CCMDs) and joint headquarters, you'll gain hands-on exposure to the Joint Targeting Coordination Board (JTCB) process and develop foundational skills across the full Joint Targeting Cycle. What You'll Do- Support the Joint Targeting Coordination Board (JTCB) process by assisting in the integration of commander's intent with joint and combined targeting operations
- Assist in the development and synchronization of target nominations across multiple domains - air, land, maritime, cyber, and space - under the guidance of senior targeters
- Help produce targeting products that align with operational priorities, legal authorities, and commander's guidance
- Support integration with CCMD or equivalent joint headquarters staff to assist in theater-level targeting requirements
- Develop working knowledge of LOAC, IHL, and proportionality analysis as applied to targeting decisions in complex environments
- Leverage targeting systems and tools to contribute to the production of timely, accurate, and actionable targeting products
This position is contingent upon award of contractQualificationsWhat You Bring- Minimum of 9 years w/o a degree or 7 years with AS/AA or 5 years with BA/BS; or 3 years with MS/MA
- Some exposure to joint or service-level targeting, fires, or intelligence operations - at the tactical or operational level
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph required
- SAP/SAR access may be required depending on assignment
Preferred Qualifications- Completion of Joint Targeting School (JTS) at Ft. Bragg (JFKSWCS) or equivalent service targeting course
- Familiarity with CJCSI 3160.01, JP 3-60, and JP 3-09
- Basic familiarity with targeting systems such as MIDB, JADOCS, MAAS, COLISEUM, DCGS-A, or equivalent
- Exposure to JMEM and weaponeering tools (JWAT, JMEM/AS) a plus
- Any prior deployment experience in a targeting, fires, or intelligence support role is a plus
- Familiarity with LOAC, IHL, and proportionality analysis concepts

Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
