Overview

WHO are we looking for?

CAPTRUST is seeking a Talent Programs Specialist to support the execution and continuous improvement of talent management and employee experience initiatives across the firm. This role partners closely with Human Resources, business leaders, and employees to administer key talent programs, analyze workforce and engagement data, and help create meaningful development and growth opportunities for colleagues. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys using data to solve problems, and believes in practical, scalable talent solutions that deliver measurable business and employee impact. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute annual talent programs and processes including but not limited to performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, and other related programs. Execution includes implementing cycles in the relevant HR technology, project management, communications, reporting, training and process documentation.
  • Administer employee listening programs, including the annual engagement survey, new hire surveys, exit surveys, offboarding surveys, and pulse surveys.
  • Collaborate with key players including HR Business Partners and senior leaders to ensure talent programs and initiatives are aligned with broader workforce goals, gaps, and future needs.
  • Support both the design of programs and the delivery, communication and support of programs with our HR Business Partners, leaders, and management.
  • Align programs and initiatives with CAPTRUST Core Competencies, Values, and Strategies.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for HR leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel reporting to support data-driven decision making.
  • Leverage workforce, talent, and engagement data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and emerging workforce needs.
  • Serve as a key administrator and resource for Lattice and support talent reporting and data integrity within ADP.
  • Champion programs that support colleague development, engagement, career growth, and retention.
  • Develop communications, training materials, presentations, and resources supporting talent initiatives.
  • Support leaders and colleagues in translating talent program outcomes into actionable development plans, stretch assignments, and targeted learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to workforce planning conversations by providing insights into talent gaps, emerging skill needs, and internal pipeline health.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in performance management, talent management, career and/or development programs
  • 3+ years of managing enterprise-wide talent programs such as succession, onboarding, high-potential, etc. - Career Pathing/skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, reporting, and large dataset analysis
  • Experience creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and visualizations

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using data and insights to inform actions, decisions, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement
  • Experience administering and analyzing employee engagement, onboarding, offboarding, and pulse surveys
  • Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to synthesize and simplify complex topics
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong analytical, project management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information

Desired Qualifications/Skills:
  • Experience with Lattice or similar talent management platforms
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or related certification
  • Experience in professional services, financial services, or a fast-paced growth organization
