Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our office in Houston, TX
DESCRIPTION:As a Talent Acquisition Manager, reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead full-cycle recruiting and talent sourcing for professional, technical, and operational positions supporting our Electrical Subcontractor- Fisk Electric. This role requires a recruiter who can speak credibly with electrical construction leaders and candidates, understand the talent needed to execute complex work, and build strong networks across the electrical contracting industry.
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies for electrical construction roles across hospitals, data centers, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, including intake meetings, market research, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer development, and candidate closing.
- Build and maintain active pipelines for electrical construction professionals, including project executives, project managers, superintendents, estimators, field engineers, BIM/VDC professionals, safety leaders, and other critical talent.
- Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, networking of industry contacts, and direct outreach to engage competitor talent and generate interest.
- Develop relationships with electrical contractors, trade organizations, technical schools, engineering programs, and industry professionals to expand Fisk Electric's talent network.
- Evaluate candidates for technical knowledge, project experience, leadership capability, career motivation, and alignment with Fisk Electric's business needs and values.
- Advise hiring managers on talent availability, compensation considerations, competitive market conditions, and effective candidate selection practices.
- Deliver a professional, responsive candidate experience and maintain consistent communication throughout the recruiting process.
- Manage recruiting activity and candidate data in the applicant tracking system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, status updates, and reporting.
- Coordinate with the corporate Talent Acquisition team, Human Resources, operations, and approved external recruiting partners as needed.
- Support workforce planning, employer branding, career events, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
- This position will also support other Tutor Perini Companies in our specialty subcontractor sector
REQUIREMENTS:- Highschool diploma or GED
- 5 or more years of progressive recruiting experience, including significant experience recruiting for electrical construction, specialty contracting, or a closely related technical industry.
- Strong technical understanding of commercial and industrial electrical construction, including the roles, terminology, project environments, and skill sets required to deliver complex electrical work.
- Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates and building long-term professional networks in competitive talent markets.
- Experience recruiting for large, complex projects such as hospitals, data centers, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.
- Ability to assess construction experience through informed, credible conversations with candidates and hiring leaders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise leaders at multiple levels.
- Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel periodically to Fisk Electric offices, project sites, recruiting events, and industry networking activities.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred but not required
