We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager who is passionate about finding great people, building strong partnerships, and creating an exceptional candidate experience.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with Operations leaders to understand current staffing needs and future growth, proactively source qualified candidates, and manage candidates through the recruiting process from initial contact through hire and onboarding.
Success in this role requires someone who can move quickly, stay organized, build relationships, and keep the hiring process moving without unnecessary delays. Most importantly, you’ll help us create a WOW! Candidate Experience at every stage of the recruiting journey.
This position is a hybrid position, working remote and travel to restaurants in the Long Island NY and New York Metro market when needed. This person should live in Nassau Long Island , Brooklyn, or Queens, area of New York.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Operations leaders to identify current and anticipated hiring needs.
- Develop and execute sustainable talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans for the regions and areas you support.
- Proactively source and engage qualified candidates for open positions.
- Review applications and resumes, quickly identifying candidates who should move forward in the hiring process.
- Conduct phone screens and first interviews using established tools and processes.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process and ensure they know what to expect at each step.
- Coordinate candidate and Operations Leadership schedules to keep interviews and hiring decisions moving efficiently.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks and drug testing, in accordance with company procedures and applicable requirements.
- Partner with Operations to determine appropriate offers for qualified candidates.
- Coordinate new-hire orientation and onboarding activities with the appropriate Field Support partners.
- Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate pipeline information in iCIMS to support KPI tracking and reporting.
- Build relationships with external recruiting agencies when additional support is needed for hard-to-fill positions.
- Plan and participate in career fairs, college recruiting events, and similar talent acquisition activities.
- Regularly evaluate recruiting processes and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Meet established monthly, quarterly, and annual recruiting KPIs.

Knowledge of employment laws related to interviewing and hiring is important. Experience with recruiting technology and business applications such as iCIMS and Microsoft Office is also valuable.
This person will have held the position of Recruiter rather than Recruited as part of their job as a Manager.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Employment eligibility to work in the United States required.
- Restaurant industry experience is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to supported locations, meetings, career events, and other business activities, including occasional out-of-state travel.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights and weekends when business or recruiting needs require it.

- 1-3 years experience in recruiting, preferably in the restaurant/retail industry.
- Can work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business
- Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
- Must be able to travel to restaurants, cafes and pubs when necessary to meet candidates, in addition travel to New Jersey corporate office when necessary.
- Experience with iCIMS a plus
