The annual base salary range for this role is $176,000-$208,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

  • Security Frameworks: Deep working knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, NIST cybersecurity controls, and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Operational Mobility: Willingness and ability to undertake periodic OCONUS travel for on-site assessment operations.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 7+ years of professional cybersecurity and Red Team assessment experience OR Master's Degree in a related technical field, PLUS 5+ years of specialized offensive security and threat assessment experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 11+ years of hands-on technical experience in cybersecurity operations, network assessment, and Red Teaming in lieu of a degree.

Desired Skills

  • Offensive Certifications: Industry certifications such as OSCP, CRTP, CRTE, CRTO, or equivalent penetration testing credentials.
  • Penetration Testing & Exploitation: Practical experience with ethical hacking, exploit development, post-exploitation techniques, and manual penetration testing.
  • Zero Trust Concepts: Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and modern network infrastructure hardening.
  • Blue/Purple Team Collaboration: Experience supporting defensive monitoring, detection engineering, or joint Purple Team exercises.
  • Python Scripting: Basic proficiency in Python for automated parsing, custom payload delivery, or quick assessment scripting.
