PeopleTec is seeking a Systems Integrator & System Administrator in Huntsville, AL, to build and operate the computing infrastructure for an on-premise AI system supporting the H-1 flight simulator. You will manage the GPU-based development and training environments, prepare and secure systems for customer use, support installation and integration, and maintain the infrastructure through testing and sustainment.
Duties:
Specify, build, and maintain GPU-based computing, storage, and network infrastructure for AI development, training, and testing.
Build and maintain the development and training environment, including Linux systems, containers, GPU software, storage, and backups.
Secure and maintain systems in accordance with applicable STIG, vulnerability-management, and CUI requirements.
Install and integrate systems at the customer site, support testing and demonstrations, and troubleshoot system or integration issues.

Required Skills/Experience:

Ability to travel approximately 25%, including extended on-site support for installation, testing, and technical reviews.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent relevant professional or military experience may substitute for a degree.
Desired Skills:
Flight simulator or training device facility experience, including work alongside instructor operator stations and simulator networks
Distributed simulation network setup (HLA or DIS) and RTI configuration
Security+ or equivalent certification; familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 controls
