As an Implementation Engineer, you will lead the successful integration of advanced audiovisual systems at client sites. You'll collaborate directly with clients, project teams, and installation crews to manage every stage of the design and deployment process, ensuring each project is executed to the highest standard of quality and professionalism. Your leadership, attention to detail, and technical skills will be instrumental in making every project a success.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in daily meetings with teams and clients for projects in various phases
- Verify specific site details during project kickoff (building access, cable conveyance, power requirements, layouts, and more)
- Capture project requirements during preliminary design review (cable color codes, labeling formats, custom equipment, etc.)
- Estimate labor and material costs from equipment lists and design drawings
- Scrub Bill of Materials versus line drawings to ensure equipment accuracy before fabrication or installation
- Conduct design reviews and generate wire-lists/cable pull sheets
- Print and distribute design packages to installation teams
- Collaborate on red-line corrections in AutoCAD
- Lead onsite integration teams, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Manage onsite inventory and optimize use of labor, including subcontractors
- Represent our core values through communication, professionalism, and teamwork
- Provide daily project reports (with photos) detailing work completed, schedule updates, and roadblocks
- Capture red-line updates as needed using Autodesk Build
- Perform hands-on integration tasks: rack build, cable pulling, termination/testing, equipment mounting, and system configuration/testing
- Travel as needed, up to 50%
Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of professional experience in AV systems integration
- Demonstrated proficiency installing voice/data cabling, fiber optics, and related systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough understanding of project phases: construction, installation, and integration
- Skilled with AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Excel, Word, and Google Sheets
- Ability to use basic hand tools including screwdrivers, soldering iron, and crimpers
