ResponsibilitiesThe Outreach & Engagement team is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the continued maturation and enhancement of customer user outreach tools. Responsibilities include performing end-to-end systems engineering for software tools that support outreach activities for our customer. The Senior Systems Engineer will collaborate with product and Systems Engineering teams to support user feedback-driven design, improve software functionality and usability, and help deliver effective solutions that meet user needs.
Job Duties may also include:
- Perform end-to-end systems engineering in support of product teams using Agile development methods.
- Collaborate with a dynamic Systems Engineering team focused on user feedback-driven design, content management and messaging, service marketing, user support, and information brokering.
- Perform product testing focused on usability and user experience and identify opportunities to improve software tools and functionality.

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Seven (7) years9 experience shall have occurred within the past ten (10) years.
- Bachelor9s degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor9s degree.
- Active TS SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, working in semi-structured situations, with the ability to identify support gaps and proactively get tasks done.
- Experience with Mustache syntax and Javascript.
- Experience performing product testing for usability and the process of improving software tools to maximize user experience.
- Experience integrating COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors.
- Experience developing solutions that integrate and extend COTS products.
- Experience developing systems performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large scale programs.
- Experience evaluating project needs, determining tasks and durations, and allocating resources.
- Experience representing development projects in meetings with external stakeholders.
- Experience managing documentation in Confluence.
- Experience developing documentation required to support a program's technical issues and training situations.
- Experience using Jira in support of Agile development projects.
- Knowledge of web page and interface design.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering practices supporting user feedback-driven design, content management and messaging, service marketing, user support, and information brokering.
- Experience communicating with technical resources across multiple customer organizations and agencies.
- Knowledge of the Analytic and Engagement Applications (AEA) suite of tools

Target Salary Range$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual9s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
