Systems Engineer
The Opportunity:

As a leader in systems engineering, we're looking for you to solve complex challenges and shape security and safety by integrating with Air Force engineering support. Your customer will trust you to implement model-based system engineering practices in a sustainment environment. You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
  • Experience developing style guide compliant SysML models for aircraft subsystems defined by legacy technical documents such as technical orders or wiring diagrams
  • Experience with adopting new digital environments and modeling tools
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering toolsets such as CAMEO
  • Experience with system development, integration and testing
  • Experience performing requirements development and verification methods
  • Experience leading technical discussions for avionic platforms, subsystems, or line replacement units during project planning and review sessions, and in informal interactions with the client or outside agencies
  • Ability to identify risks, issues, and opportunities for an aircraft modification program
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with digital transformation strategies and digital engineering practices
  • Experience with avionics, aircraft weapon system support and system integration in multiple settings for development, integration, and testing
  • Experience with review of requirement and software documents, including with DOORS and Agile methods
  • Experience with test and evaluation or airworthiness certification
  • Experience creating or reviewing safety critical items for compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and procedures
  • Experience recommending corrective actions
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
