Systems Engineer, Storage & Virtual Infrastructure (Prime)In this role, you will support the Analytical Application team by helping maintain secure, reliable storage and virtualized infrastructure across mission environments.
Your work will focus heavily on NetApp storage administration, VMware vSphere, Linux systems administration, and Rancher. You will help keep storage services available, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, maintain system configurations, and support the hardware and platform components that mission applications rely on.
This is a strong fit for an engineer who enjoys working close to the infrastructure layer and understands how storage, virtualization, Linux systems, and platform services come together to support mission operations. What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out
This is not a Kubernetes-heavy DevOps role. The focus is on storage engineering and infrastructure sustainment.
You will have the opportunity to become a key technical resource for NetApp storage and virtual infrastructure while supporting a larger mission platform. The work blends storage administration, Linux systems engineering, virtualization, platform support, and troubleshooting, giving you broad visibility into how the underlying infrastructure supports applications and data.
At Intelliforce, your work is visible and your technical judgment matters. Because we support prime programs, our engineers stay close to meaningful mission work and the teams relying on these systems. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong engineering gets noticed. Add in long-term stability, strong benefits, and a people-first culture, and this is an opportunity to take ownership of infrastructure that mission teams depend on every day. Here's What Your Day-to-Day Could Include
