The Theater Strike Weapon Systems (TSWS) mission area is looking for our next enthusiastic and motivated Systems Engineer Sr Staff to lead Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) Hardware Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) Program Integration & Control activities.

As the Program Integration & Control Lead, you will:
  • Lead Program Integration & Control (PIC) activities for the LRHW Hardware Engineering IPT responsible for all hardware engineering efforts associated with the design, development, test and delivery of LRHW Battery Operations Center (BOC), Transporter Erector Launcher (TEL), All Up Round (AUR) Emulator (AE) and related assets.
  • Support a diverse team of design engineers while coordinating across various program IPTs to ensure Hardware Engineering IPT plans and resources appropriately integrate to support program-level priorities.
  • Coordinate daily with product managers, HW design engineering, quality assurance engineers, material resource planners and program planners as required
  • Work closely with all control account managers (CAM) for the IPT to ensure thoughtful, effective, disciplined, and coordinated cost and schedule integration.
  • Provide guidance to Hardware Engineering team throughout the full Systems Engineering lifecycle, to include weapons system operations
  • Establish, manage, and communicate Hardware Engineering IPT programmatic expectations, goals, roles, responsibilities, and objectives
  • Lead and perform program baseline planning, integrated master schedule integration, schedule/cost validation, and awareness of risk and opportunities

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge and/or experience with hardware product lifecycle processes from systems requirements decomposition to design requirements through final acceptance and delivery of hardware products
  • Familiarity with DoD Army Ground Systems and Army Missile programs
  • Proposal preparation and negotiation experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Eligibility to be granted a DoD Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required


Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated experience with Program/Project Management
  • Demonstrated experience with development of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Experience with large weapon systems programs or US strategic missile weapon systems
  • Customer interaction and familiarity with DoD labs/facilities
  • Broad experience within manufacturing, integration and test environments
  • Authority in systems thinking techniques with demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of complex problems, and ability to train others in their application


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
