POSITION SUMMARY:

Assesses current operations and networks within a company to identifypotential issues in the system. Then, they proceed to create a more efficient systemarchitecture. They monitor computer networks, research software and hardware, andprovide directions to the IT team.A senior systems engineer analyzes existingcompany networks and operations to pinpoint possible system problems, then designsa more efficient system architecture. This role also includes overseeing computernetworks, researching software and hardware, and managing the IT team.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. Responsible for maintaining the operations, ongoing and new IT Initiatives and upgrades,evaluation of new software, and engineering support for all production, development, anddisaster recovery environments.2. Will design and support ongoing efforts to achieve efficiencies through automation usingPowershell3. Resolves and appropriately completes assigned cases and change requests and acts as anescalation for support issues.4. Applies new solutions through research and collaboration with the team and determines courseof action for new application initiatives. Implements new software solutions as required by thebusiness.

1. Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent2. Extensive experience managing Windows Server environments, includingadministration, troubleshooting, security, and network configuration3. Ideally Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft CertifiedSolutions Expert (MCSE) in Windows Server
