The selected person will be part of a highly skilled and efficient team of System Engineers with significant combined experience in instrumentation for Semiconductor production environment. This position provides an opportunity to have a large impact in a rapidly growing division and industry.
Pay Range: $ 145,000 - $180,000 Annually (DOE)
Role Responsibilities
What will you do as a Sr. Systems Engineer?
System Engineers play a key role throughout the entire Product Life Cycle from the inception and validation of new ideas to final product release, product roadmap and field testing.
Our ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual with broad experience in applied high vacuum systems for electron beam and x-rays related technologies.
The candidate must have high proficiency in hands-on work and demonstrate the ability to design, build, and use complex vacuum systems with high-end metrology equipment such as stages, gauges, cameras, lasers, detectors, spectrometers, electron beam analysis equipment, etc. The candidate must have a proven record on accomplishments in R&D and engineering.
Propose solutions for customer problems, validate the concepts of the proposed solutions and initiate development and implementation of these solutions.
Own validation and building of new prototype systems and validation through prototype test data collection and processing.
Participates in the Design and Testing phase of the component (sub-system), ensures that the design complies with the requirements.
Own the design and integration of new components or sub-systems into the product and characterize its behavior at full product performance.
Develop procedures for and trains Manufacturing, Service and Applications in all aspects of the new component or sub-system as it relates to the complete system - assembly, calibration, testing and end-user operation.
What will help you to succeed in the role?
Problem solving skills for resolution of system level challenges at every phase of the Product Lifecycle
Willingness to participate in field activities for new product release or challenging customer issues
Customer management skills that build relationships with internal and external customers
Interface with supporting organization and our Advanced Technology group to define and drive the product development roadmap
Hands on mechanical, electrical, and optical assembly experience.
