Systems Engineer Level 3 with Information Systems Security familiarity for an exciting opportunity in the
Annapolis Junction, MD area.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: A current and active TS/SCI clearance with a Maryland (MD) polygraph is required for consideration. CCA candidates will not be considered for this position at this time.The Senior Systems Engineer will analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
Key Responsibilities- Provide Linuxand Windows system administration, including troubleshooting, softwareinstallation/loading, system configuration, maintenance, andadministration of RF system networks and associated software packages.
- Support andintegrate RF and collection systems, applying knowledge of how collectionsystems operate, interact with supporting infrastructure, and move datathrough the end-to-end data flow.
- Providenetworking, FORNSAT, and Tactical SIGINT support, including configuration,integration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of mission systems andsupporting infrastructure.
- SupportInformation Assurance (IA) and cybersecurity activities, including RMFcompliance, security policies, vulnerability/risk assessments, systemauthorization, and maintenance of the system's operational securityposture.
- Develop,manage, and review system requirements and technical documentation,including SSPs, requirements specifications, interface documentation, riskassessments, system engineering plans, and security authorizationpackages.
- Coordinatesystem integration, configuration management, CCB activities, design/testreviews, verification efforts, and cross-functional technical issues,ensuring hardware, software, networks, RF components, and interfacesoperate effectively together.
- Evaluate systemarchitectures, designs, security requirements, technical risks, and systemperformance, maintaining the technical integrity and baseline of missionsystems throughout development, deployment, and operations andmaintenance.
RequirementsCLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: A current and active TS/SCI clearance with a Maryland (MD) polygraph is required for consideration. CCA candidates will not be considered for this position at this time.Qualifications- A bachelor'sdegree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from anaccredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systemsengineering experience. OR A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-five(25) years of general systems engineering experience (any process area).
