Job Description

This position is for a Systems Engineer II. The Secure Subsystems Department is responsible for the design, test, and certification of cross-domain technologies and cryptographic products that equip our warfighters to thrive in today's multi-domain battlespace. Our department collaborates with portfolio teams across the organization to help capture new business and create security-hardened solutions that address our customers' demanding needs.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with a dedicated, high-performing team driving the development of airborne and ground communication products, delivering secure, mission-critical solutions to our customers.
• Contribute to all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, including trade studies, system architecture, requirements definition and allocation, traceability, integration, verification, and qualification.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful execution of key program milestones.
• Provide systems engineering support for bids and proposals, contributing to technical strategy and solution development.
• Perform daily tasks in a classified and controlled lab environment.
• Travel up to 10%.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, and verification/validation, and transition to production.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Qualifications We Prefer

• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is preferred prior to start date.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with communicating between program stakeholders.
• Experience with tools such as DOORS, CAMEO or similar, Software Languages such as Rust and Python.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
