Full Job Description
SEACORPis seeking a full-time Systems Engineer in Middletown, RI. The selectedcandidate will join a highly talented team responsible for design and deliveryof the Payload Control System (PCS) within AN/BYG-1.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Work with software developers, test engineers,systems engineers and cyber experts to analyze and decompose requirements,design software approaches, support integration and test, manage interfaces,and assess software deliveries.
  • Work with the larger BYG-1 and SWFTScommunity to integrate PCS releases and deploy to the fleet.
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a creative problem solver and ableto work effectively in a multi-team environment. Experience with IBM DOORs andJira is a plus.


Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in an engineering field is required.

Experience: 3 years of relevant experience.

Essential Capabilities:
  • 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience on software intensive systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements derivation and management.
  • Experience generating system engineering artifacts.
  • Development of test steps in support of requirements verification andvalidation.
  • Ability to work effectively with developers, customers, and leadership frommultiple teams.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Desired Capabilities:
  • Experience with containerized applications.
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology.
  • Working knowledge of SWFTS and/or AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat Weapon Systems.
  • Experience with Linux Operating systems.
  • Experience with Jira, DOORS.
