OverviewStellar Solutions is seeking systems engineers to support potential opportunities with NASA and the Department of War in the Huntsville, AL area. These positions require the ability to identify, analyze and solve programmatic challenges in new or different ways that involve the application of engineering, project management, and contracting best practices to achieve success.
Role/Responsibilities/QualificationsSuccessful candidates will become a member of the high-performing NASA and/or Department of War teams in Huntsville, AL providing adice and support in the following areas (but not limited to these areas only):
- Systems Engineering and Integration Processes
- Performance Assessment and Reporting
- Program/Project Management
- Risk Management
- Acquisition Strategy Development
- Development/Execution of Program/Project Governance and Business Processes
- Schedule Management
- Budget Development and Program Execution
Desired Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree in Engineering ore related field is preferred
- Broad experience in space systems systems engineering and integration; research and development; program/project management,to include financial management, schedule management, and risk management; and acquisition and procurement management support
- Working knowledge of NASA and/or Department of War program/project management and systems engineering principles and applying those principles to NASA and/or Department of War space programs
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to be able to develop strategic relationships with industry and Government agencies/partners, and to achieve results within organizationally diverse teams through influence rather than direction
- Ability to travel up to other NASA centers/Department of War installations and supplier locations, up to one (1) week per month on average
- Professional certification in program management, contracting, systems engineering or other applicable fields
