Overview Bridge cloud and classified infrastructure for a federal enterprise cloud program. This role blends enterprise systems engineering with COMSEC subject matter expertise - advising the Government and the Cloud Service Providers on secure circuit connections, authorizations, and tactical edge integration.
How You'll Make an Impact - Provide expert COMSEC analysis IAW CNSSI No. 4009 and brief CSP COMSEC account managers on NSA compliance and best practices.
- Coordinate with DoD Strategic Partners and CSPs on circuit connections at multiple classification levels and DoD Provisional Authorizations.
- Support system testing for tactical edge devices and associated infrastructure.
- Document integration approaches connecting cloud systems to existing DoD infrastructure; maintain configuration and integration documentation.
- Analyze system performance metrics and facilitate technical working groups on complex systems engineering challenges.
What You'll Need to Join the Team - Bachelor's degree + 8 years of experience, OR 12 years total in enterprise systems engineering with infrastructure integration emphasis.
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Meets DoD 8140 requirements for Work Role 651, Enterprise Architect (Intermediate); alternate Work Role 723, COMSEC Manager.
What Sets You Apart - Prior COMSEC account manager/custodian experience or formal NSA COMSEC training.
- Experience with DISN circuit provisioning, cross-domain solutions, or classified transport engineering.
- Familiarity with GIAP/SGS, SNAP, and PPSM connection approval processes.
Certifications (examples of approved options) DoD 8140 WRC 651 (Intermediate) examples: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CompTIA Cloud+, ISC2 CGRC - per the current DoD 8140 Qualification Matrix.
