Title: Systems Engineer

Description of specific Duties in a typical workday for this position:
Analyze, understand, and document the architecture of existing IT solutions
Participate in business capabilities and systems' requirements analysis
Participate in translating business requirements into IT solutions while taking into account the constraints imposed by the existing systems and architectures
Participate in the design of content management and workflow solutions
Participate in the design and management of servers, operating systems, middleware, and data storage and manipulation platforms
Perform custom software systems design and development in collaboration with senior team members
Participate in research, assessment, and adoption of emerging and new technologies and paradigms
Assist the Security Compliance team with various aspects of the implementation and maintenance of an Information and Information Systems Security Program
Work with the Systems Administration team members to deploy technical controls to meet specific security requirements
Perform audit activities to report on compliance and security configurations
Conduct penetration testing to discover vulnerabilities in the systems before they can be exploited
