Description
Total system solutions have to hold together from concept through disposal, across technical, schedule, and cost constraints that pull in different directions. The Red Gate Group is seeking a Systems Architect to support a Department of Defense intelligence customer, guiding technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost, risk, and supportability analysis for total systems behind a joint intelligence capability. You will conduct system architecture analysis at all levels of the total system product, from concept and design through test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal, ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer requirements into total system solutions.
You will perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, and you will develop new and review existing architectural documentation using DoDAF and UAF. You will also advise the engineering team on strategies for new technologies and infrastructure processes.
You Have
• 12+ years of systems architecture or systems engineering experience, including recent experience within the last 2 years. This experience requirement is firm and cannot be met through education or certifications.
• Master's degree in a related field, or one of the following in its place: an Associate's degree in a related field and 4 additional years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 additional years of relevant experience, or 6 additional years of relevant experience. The additional years used in place of the degree are on top of the 12 year experience requirement above, not counted within it.
• Expertise with DoDAF and UAF frameworks
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current CI polygraph
