THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is looking for highly motivated, experienced individuals to perform network/system administration and support on a variety of complex platforms supporting BMD and other DoD related activities. System Administration activities include (but are not limited to):
• Setup and configuration of new computing assets, to include STIG compliant hardening
• Configuration, fine tuning, and maintenance of security tools such as Nessus, ACAS, Splunk, etc.
• Setting up/configuring new users
• Installation and configuration of new software on computing assets
• Performing preventive maintenance on hardware
• Assisting the Cybersecurity team in maintaining the compliance of computing assets
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Basic QualificationsSolid background/experience with Red Hat
Enterprise
- Microsoft Windows Server Setup, Configuration,
and Administration
- Experience providing lab support including:
Network/System Administration
- Experience with server and desktop
management of Linux and Windows
environments
- Familiar with package deployment, imaging,
and patching
Desired SkillsCompliance with DoD Risk Management
Framework (RMF) Policies (or NIST 800-53)
- Experience providing support in classified
environments
-DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification:
CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security +
CE, or SSCP is required.
- Familiar with Active Directory and SCCM
- Experience with Aegis and other BMD
systems/platforms
- Experience interacting with both internal and
external customers/end-users
- Must be able to work independently with
minimal supervision
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
