DevOps Engineer to join our team in support of the
Analytic Mission Integration project. In this role, you will leverage your strong troubleshooting instincts and infrastructure expertise to support, maintain, and optimize core virtualized and containerized environments. You will play a critical role in keeping high-priority infrastructure resilient and performant-managing NetApp storage administration, maintaining VMware vSphere clusters, and supporting Linux systems and Kubernetes orchestrations. The annual base salary range for this role is $152,000-$180,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required SkillsTroubleshooting & Problem Solving: Strong hands-on diagnostic skills across virtualized hardware, storage networks, and operating systems.
- Linux System Administration: Fundamental to advanced Linux SA skills, command-line expertise, and system management.
- Storage Administration: Hands-on experience with NetApp storage administration and data management.
- Virtualization: Practical experience administering VMware and vSphere environments.
- Container Management: Working knowledge of Rancher for container ecosystem management.
- Access Requirements: Ability to obtain SYS1 level system access.
- Rotational Support: Flexibility to provide rotational call-in support to backup the team when required.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, PLUS
14+ years of professional systems engineering experience OR
High School Diploma / GED, PLUS
19+ years of hands-on technical systems engineering and requirements management experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired SkillsExperience with Kubernetes cluster administration and deployment.
Familiarity with NetApp Kubernetes plugins (e.g., Trident).
Experience with automated deployment tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Background in supporting analytic intelligence integration or mission-critical enterprise environments.
