is seeking a highly motivated System Engineer to join a small, mission-focused team supporting critical client/server environments. This position focuses on systems engineering, automation, security compliance, and administration of enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining system integrity, performance, and security while working closely with users and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Engineer, deploy, and maintain secure and reliable client/server environments
  • Administer and support Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Implement and maintain system automation solutions
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with security requirements and policies
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and devices
  • Perform system patching, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening
  • Support Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, and network services
  • Assist with Kubernetes and containerized environments
  • Monitor system performance and availability, proactively resolving issues
  • Communicate technical issues, risks, and escalation requirements to management
  • Collaborate with customers, users, and team members to support mission objectives

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong Systems Engineering and System Administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of security compliance requirements and best practices
  • Experience administering Windows and Linux environments
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and networking concepts
  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network devices
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments
  • Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, and network services
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, patch management, and system hardening
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and escalate issues to management

Desired Skills
