Job Description:

As a Mission Management Support Systems Engineer on our team, you will support a cryptologic dissemination customer in modernizing the process by which auto-dissemination proposals are adjudicated for approval. You will need to be able to understand/learn the data flows between systems; and learn how data is transformed, checked and manipulated to support dissemination adjudicators in getting the information and artifacts needed to verify that described controls and interfaces meet policy, oversight and compliance requirements, as well as any requirements specifically levied by the adjudicating body.

The Level 6 Systems Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
  • Expertise with intelligence community law and policy protecting U.S. persons; (former legal experience is highly desired).
  • Process engineering and/or Lean Six Sigma experience.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in one or more Process Areas defined in the ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Approved delivery of work products of all process areas defined in the ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Plan and develop engineering projects with unique or complex aspects that impact major capabilities of high priority to the enterprise.
  • Independently resolve important engineering issues requiring the use of advanced technology.
  • Familiarity with U.S. or international privacy and civil liberties law and policy.
  • Legal training or expertise, either as a lawyer or in the legal profession.
  • Familiarity with the Cryptologic Dissemination Review Committee (CDRC).
  • Operational SIGINT experience (i.e. CNO, NCSC and Analytics experience).
  • Experience as a SIGINT analyst/reporter/auditor.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
  • Flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment.
  • Should be comfortable guiding people without having influence over them.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 1
    from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience
    OR
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering
    experience.
    OR
  • A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2)
    from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience
    OR
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an
    accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.

Must have active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Pay Range: 201,000-231,000
