Job Description:
Summary:
The Program Director - EPMO leads the EPMO department, management team members, and directors multiple programs that have components of Ballad Health Strategy (MAP) implementation, COPA/CA implementation, and/or innovations programs. This people manager and leader collaborates with IT Project Management, Construction Project Management, Operational Excellence, and third-party Vendor Project Management to ensure the project/program stays within the timeline, scope, and budget.
• Works closely with key executive leadership, management, and clinical staff to bridge the vision of the program to implementation at the operational level.
• Creates a vision and deploys innovative PMIS systems using Smartsheet, SharePoint, and other software systems as assigned.
• Establishes and oversees program portfolio and strategy deployment accordance to PMBOK methods.
• Measure project performance with current and baseline KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• Plans and leaders stakeholders engagements for project discovery, progress reports, and project closures
• Lead the evaluation, prioritization, and performance of Program Portfolios.
• Present project recommendations to executive leadership tied to Ballad Health Strategy implementation, Management Action Plan (MAP) goals, COPA/CA implementation, and/or innovation programs
• Manages 5+ programs with 50+ projects
• Provide financial oversight of program portfolios.
• Provided financial oversight of the departmental budget.
• Assist leadership with departmental strategic planning.
• Provided continuous improvement of departmental resources and processes. Sets visions for future innovations.
• 10+ years of experience in project/program management.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (healthcare, business, engineering, information systems, finance, or equivalent)
• Master's degree (business, public health, or equivalent) - Preferred
• 5 -10 years of experience in project/program management. 10+ years preferred. Previous leadership of people and/or project teams preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP)
PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) - Preferred
