Position Description: Join a high profile client program as a System Designer on a focused. You will evaluate a portfolio of six business applications and chart the path toward a unified, consistent experience for their end users. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $198,400.00.

Your future duties and responsibilities:• Conduct a structured design and UX audit of six existing business applications, including heuristic evaluation, UI and component inventory, and accessibility (WCAG) review
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and workshops with business owners, product managers, engineers, and end users to understand workflows, pain points, and priorities
• Map current state user journeys and identify inconsistencies in navigation, interaction patterns, visual language, content and terminology, and components across the application portfolio
• Assess existing design assets, Figma libraries, and front-end component usage to identify gaps, redundancies, and reuse opportunities
• Define unified design principles and a target state experience framework spanning all six applications
• Recommend a design system foundation, including design tokens, core components, interaction patterns, documentation standards, and a governance and contribution model
• Illustrate key recommendations with Figma prototypes, annotated mockups, and before/after comparisons; partner with engineering and product teams to validate technical feasibility, level of effort, and sequencing
• Deliver a prioritized set of tangible recommendations and a phased roadmap, from quick wins through longer term initiatives, with clear rationale and expected user impact
• Present findings and recommendations to client leadership through clear, compelling, executive ready readouts; and produce documentation that enables a smooth handoff to the teams responsible for implementation
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• 5+ years of experience in product, UX, or system design, including design work spanning multiple enterprise applications
• Expert level proficiency in Figma, including shared libraries, components and variants, auto layout, and prototyping
• Hands on experience building, evolving, or governing design systems and design system components (tokens, patterns, documentation)
• Demonstrated ability to conduct UX audits and heuristic evaluations and translate findings into prioritized, actionable recommendations
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA)
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with proven experience in client facing or consulting roles, including facilitating workshops and presenting to senior stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver high quality outcomes within a short, fixed duration engagement; a portfolio demonstrating multi product or design system work
