Full Job Description
The System Administrator will assume, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:
Manage and optimize system/server performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability by analyzing logs and tuning resources.
Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability issues, perform repairs on faulty hardware, and resolve complex technical problems as needed.
Develop, document, and comply with systems administration standard operating procedures, manuals, and architecture diagrams.
Maintain accurate inventories of IT equipment, licenses, and hardware.
Administrator user accounts, manage network rights, security permissions, and access to systems and equipment.
Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy, perform regular backups, and implement disaster recovery procedures.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers
Participate in audits, examinations, and risk remediation efforts
The successful candidate will possess the following education, knowledge and skillsets:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
4-5 years of system administration experience in financial services, credit union, or regulated environment
System administrator certifications (Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA or equivalent) preferred
Network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCSP or equivalent) preferred
