We're looking for a lead who can own setups, keep production on track, and coach machinists to do their best work-all in a clean, air-conditioned shop.
Your role- Set up and run Swiss CNC machines with up to nine axes, using G and M code and some macro programming knowledge.
- Guide daily production to meet quality, output, and scrap targets.
- Coach and train machinists and operators, reinforcing consistent practices across shifts.
- Verify tight tolerances using microscopes, precision measuring tools, vision systems, and CMMs.
- Use SPC data to guide offsets and tool changes, and maintain part quality.
- Keep production and training records accurate, communicate clear shift handoffs, and escalate concerns.
- Support attendance expectations, performance reviews, and hiring interviews.
What you bring- Experience: 7+ years in CNC Swiss machining; medical manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Independent setup skills and strong knowledge of Swiss machines and controls.
- The ability to coach teammates, communicate clearly, and balance competing priorities.
- Strong blueprint-reading, shop math, and precision measurement skills.
- High school diploma or GED, plus machine trades training or equivalent work experience.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
