Full Job Description
The SVP, Partnership Development reports to the Chief Partnerships Officer and is responsible for driving growth through the acquisition of new university partners and revenue-generating contracts. This role focuses on lead cultivation, relationship building, and sales execution to expand our partner network. They are dedicated to achieving individual sales targets and ensuring potential partners have a seamless and positive experience as they explore opportunities with Noodle.

As our SVP, Partnership Development, you will:

  • Identify and proactively engage new university and employer partners through outreach and networking
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and revenue goals on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract signing
  • Work collaboratively with the partnership development support team to execute product marketing strategy and financial modeling in support of new partner deals
  • Execute strategies to ensure that new revenue-producing partnerships meet a balance of beneficial gross margin to the company and its clients
  • Lead cross-functional task forces as needed to identify and resolve business uncertainties around pricing and product-market positioning
  • Support executive leadership to identify and develop new, strategic business lines for the organization, including go-to-market strategy and target account lists
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position Noodle's value proposition
  • Perform other duties as assigned


You have:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, with 6-8 years in roles with significant customer or partner-facing contact managing relationships, negotiations, or other high-pressure situations
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or partnership development, ideally within higher education or edtech
  • Master's degree, JD and/or terminal degree a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 2-3 times per month for partner meetings, industry events, and other business needs
  • A high level of proficiency around negotiations, deal structuring and strategy, and strategic selling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with an ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management
  • Proven track record managing multiple, complex projects from conception through implementation
  • High degree of self-motivation and a results-oriented mindset
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment

$150,000 - $170,000 a year

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in Noodle's commission plan, providing additional earning potential based on individual performance.
