Our subsidiary BAUER Equipment America represents BAUER Maschinen GmbH in the USA and is looking for a Logistics Assistant (m/f/x) for its location in Conroe, Texas, USA.
Das erwartet Sie in Ihrer neuen Rolle:- Provide engineering support for released products,investigating and resolving field, customer, and manufacturing issues whilemaintaining product reliability, safety, and performance
- Design and improve mechanical and structuralcomponents, including creating and revising 3D models, drawings, andengineering documentation to enhance product durability, manufacturability, andserviceability
- Lead product change management activities,including ECRs/ECOs, configuration control, and implementation of designimprovements across product lines
- Drive reliability and continuous improvementinitiatives by analyzing warranty, field, and manufacturing data to identifyroot causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering,Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Field Service to support productperformance, resolve technical issues, and execute high-impact improvementprojects
Damit überzeugen Sie uns:- Bachelor's degree inMechanical Engineering, or as deemed sufficient by management
- 5+ years ofmechanical design and/or sustaining engineering experience in heavy equipment,industrial machinery, or capital equipment manufacturing
- Experience withdrilling equipment and hands-on field exposure strongly preferred
- Strong mechanicaldesign background with demonstrated strength in structural design, working knowledge ofhydraulic systems and of electrical and controls engineering as well as solid knowledge ofmanufacturing methods and procedures
- Proficiency in CADdesign software required (SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD), experience withPDM/PLM and ERP systems preferred
- Willingness to travel tomanufacturing, customer, and field locations as required
