Position OverviewAs a Survey Manager at KOS, you will play an integral role in establishing and maintaining methods for safe, accurate and efficient Survey/Dimensional Control operations. You will have responsibilities over field survey operations, and should plan to spend the majority of your time in the field performing surveying operations.
LocationThis position will be initially based out of Kiewit Offshore Services Ingleside, TX location.
Responsibilities- Field computations
- Maintain accurate, detailed and legible field notes.
- Utilization of Leica Total Station
- Team management
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
Qualifications- At least 1+ years' experience in Dimensional Control, Industrial Measurement, Construction Survey, or a related field is required
- GPS experience is a plus
- Strong computer skills (excel/word)
- Must be able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry to perform calculations (area, volume, circumference, proportion, percentage)
- Dynamic thinker with the desire to lead, motivate and mentor teams
- Self-starter with the ability to set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality and productivity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work individually and as a team
