Since 2007, we have built strong relationships within our referral community, serving Northern Alberta, Northern British Columbia, Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
As our hospital continues to grow, we are seeking to add a second
Board-Certified Surgeon to our specialty team to expand access to advanced surgical care and provide our referral community with additional support. In addition to delivering exceptional patient care, this role will play an active part in supporting and educating our referral network throughout the year, sharing expertise on innovative surgical procedures, treatment options, and advancements in veterinary surgery.
Qualifications- Successful completion of a veterinary surgery residency program, with board certification or eligibility to sit for the certification examination
- Strong client communication skills with a commitment to partnering with pet parents, providing clear explanations of surgical procedures, discussing expected outcomes, and offering compassionate support throughout their pet's care journey
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high clinical standards
- Passion for mentoring interns, residents, and support staff in a collaborative learning environment
