northernnevadahealth.comJob summary: Under the supervision of Surgical Services in conjunction with anesthesia providers and orders, the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor is responsible for providing Respiratory care services in accordance with specific physician's orders, department policies and procedures, and quality and performance improvement and is responsible for supervising the respiratory therapy functions of the facility in conjunction with and in the absence of the critical care director.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:- Works with Manager of Respiratory Therapy, Director of Critical Care and Hospital Administration on planning, organizing and directing Respiratory Therapy Services operations and ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal regulations
- Makes rounds in department and clinical areas to judge effectiveness of operation, utilization of personnel and supplies, and general ethical and professional atmosphere
- Secures and maintains the department, equipment and supplies which are required to carry out effective patient care and create an optimum physical environment.
- Carries on continuous analysis, evaluation and audit of Respiratory Therapy Services.

Qualifications - Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
- RRT Licensure required or CRT, RRT eligible with 15+ years of experience.
- BLS, ACLS certification.
- PALS, NRP, Blood Gas Technologist certification within 90 days.
- 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
