What You Will Do:

The Fraud Analytics Operations Support Specialist will support fraud analytics operations, reporting, stakeholder coordination, project documentation, and business operations activities. This position will work under general supervision, use judgment and initiative to resolve routine problems, support portions of larger project activities, and help coordinate information, inputs, and deliverables across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Support routine and non-routine operational tasks across fraud analytics operations, reporting, stakeholder coordination, project tracking, and documentation activities.


  • Assist with collecting information, tracking issues, preparing status inputs, and supporting portions of larger project activities.


  • Use judgment and initiative to resolve routine problems and make routine recommendations under general supervision.


  • Support analysis of fraud-related data, operational information, reports, and project inputs to identify trends, issues, and follow-up needs.


  • Coordinate with team members and less experienced staff to request information, maintain accurate records, and support deliverable inputs.


  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, meeting notes, status updates, trackers, reports, and analytical support materials.


  • Support data review, documentation, quality checks, and basic reporting activities that enable fraud analytics and operational decision-making.


  • Help organize stakeholder inputs, task assignments, action items, and project artifacts to support timely delivery of work products.


  • Apply established processes, tools, and templates to complete assigned work accurately and on schedule.


  • Work onsite at the client location in Lanham, Maryland five (5) days per week and collaborate closely with government personnel and contractor team members.


What You Will Need:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.


  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Information Science, Business, or a related field.


  • Three (3) or more years of professional experience supporting project operations, fraud analytics, cybersecurity analytics, data analysis, business operations, technical documentation, reporting, or a related discipline.


  • Experience supporting routine or non-routine operational tasks, portions of larger projects, project documentation, status tracking, or reporting activities.


  • Experience collecting information, coordinating inputs, tracking issues, preparing status updates, or maintaining project records.


  • Experience using judgment and initiative to resolve routine problems and make routine recommendations under general supervision.


  • Experience supporting project operations, analytics teams, fraud programs, business operations, reporting activities, or technical documentation.


  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, verbal communication, and written communication skills.


  • Ability and willingness to work onsite at the client location in Lanham, Maryland five (5) days per week.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience supporting fraud analytics programs, business operations, reporting activities, project coordination, investigations support, or federal consulting environments.


  • Experience supporting data preparation, data quality review, reporting, project tracking, or analytical work products.


  • Experience using Microsoft Office products, SQL, reporting tools, or analytics tools such as Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies.


  • Experience developing dashboards, trackers, or visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Microsoft Excel, or similar tools.


  • Experience supporting research, documentation, recurring reporting, stakeholder coordination, or technical writing.


  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, collaborative development environments, and federal consulting environments.


  • Candidate currently possesses an active Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Moderate Background Investigation clearance or has held one within the last six (6) months.
