The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for converting demand forecasts into executable manufacturing and material supply plans that balance customer service, inventory investment, capacity utilization, and cost. This role leads supply planning across 7 manufacturing sites in the US and 1 external co-packer, ensuring feasible plans aligned with labor, equipment, and material (including Milk) constraints. The Supply Planning Manager plays a critical role in the IBP/SIOP & S&OE processes, driving alignment between Production Scheduling, Demand Planning, Purchasing, and Finance to support business objectives

- Salary range 006: $107,800 - $134,800 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position)
Where you will drive value:Manufacturing & Production Planning- Manage master supply plans driven by demand and Inventory targets, that can be translated into finite schedules at the site level
- Lead Rough Cut Capacity Planning by evaluating operational, material, and storage constraints alongside cheese aging requirements
- Understand site-level constraints including labor, equipment uptime, changeovers, and yield losses
- Balance production efficiency with customer service and inventory objectives
- Support make-to-stock and make-to-order environments as applicable
Materials & Inventory Management- Partner with Material Purchasing ensuring availability of raw materials & Packaging components
- Optimize & Manage our Inventory Policy across manufacturing and distribution nodes
- Drive reduction of excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory
Integrated Business Planning (IBP / SIOP)- Own and lead the Monthly Supply Review within the IBP/SIOP process
- Assess long-term capacity requirements and constraints (labor, equipment, Milk)
- Develop scenario plans and trade-off recommendations (service, cost, inventory, capacity)
- Develop rough-cut capacity plans with financial outlooks
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement- Track and improve KPIs such as:
- OTIF
- Schedule attainment & adherence
- Inventory turns and days of supply
- Capacity utilization
- Lead root-cause analysis for service failures or production shortfalls
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to planning accuracy, responsiveness, and execution
- Support ERP planning system enhancements
People Leadership- Lead and develop supply planners
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the planning team
What will enable you to have an impact:
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in managing a network of multiple manufacturing sites in a supply planning capacity
- Strong working knowledge of MRP & capacity planning
- 5+ years of experience operating within SIOP/IBP and S&OE frameworks
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing direct reports
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
- Manufacturing environment experience
- APICS CPIM / CSCP or similar certification
- Understanding of the Demand Planning practices within the monthly S&OP cycle
