Our head office in Kingsville, ON currently is seeking a Supply Planning / Inventory Manager to join our Strategic Sourcing team. The candidate will own end-to-end packaging supply planning and inventory management across Canada, US and Mexico. This role balances service, cost, and working capital - driving the right inventory in the right place at the right time. The Manager leads the supply planning team and partners closely with Sourcing, Operations, and Planning; and is the single accountable owner for packaging material availability and warehousing reduction initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:- Own the packaging supply plan across US, MX, and Canada - MRP signals, replenishment, and supplier scheduling.
- Manage packaging inventory: targets, safety stock policy, slow-moving / obsolete reduction, and working capital.
- Lead the Supply planning team in proactive shortage prevention, expedite management, and escalation.
- Partner with Strategic Sourcing on supplier capacity, allocation, and contingency planning.
- Drive S&OP / IBP integration for the packaging function; deliver demand-supply alignment for the planning horizon.
- Build and maintain planning KPIs, dashboards, and exception reporting.
- Lead system / process improvements in the planning toolset (ERP, Inventory reporting)
Education/Background Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field
- 8+ years of supply planning / inventory management experience, with at least 3 years managing teams.
- Multi-site, multi-country experience (US/MX/Canada strongly preferred).
- Strong ERP proficiency
- Demonstrated ability to balance service, cost, and inventory metrics.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:- Establish full planning coverage for North American and Mexico operations.
- Implement a segmented safety-stock policy across all packaging categories using differentiated service levels and demand/supply variability.
- Reduce inventory while maintaining a documented disposition plan for all aged inventory.
- Weekly Supply Review
- Establish a weekly supply-review cadence involving Supply Assurance, Sourcing, and Operations, with clear actions, owners, and escalation paths.
- Maintain Inventory Visibility across all channels
- Deliver a unified inventory dashboard with daily refresh, providing visibility to inventory levels, stockouts, and key risks.
