The Supply Chain Transformation Lead will improve how the organization plans, purchases, manages inventory, and delivers products. Reporting to Supply Chain leadership, this role will turn manual, fragmented activities into standardized processes supported by reliable data, ERP workflows, automation, and clear accountability.
Procurement transformation is a major part of the role, but its scope extends across demand and supply planning, supplier collaboration, inventory management, and the handoffs between Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and Finance. The successful candidate will work with process owners to design practical changes, implement them, and ensure teams adopt them. The goal is to help teams manage exceptions and risks instead of spending time on routine transactions and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities- Map end-to-end supply chain processes, identify gaps and manual work, and prioritize improvements based on business impact.
- Lead process and digital transformation initiatives across procurement, planning, supplier collaboration, inventory, and order fulfillment.
- Partner with Purchasing to expand supplier portal use, electronic acknowledgments, automated purchase order confirmations, and exception-based management.
- Work with Planning and Operations to improve demand inputs, supply planning, inventory visibility, and responses to shortages and changing customer requirements.
- Define standard workflows, decision rules, data requirements, and ownership across functions and locations.
- Partner with IT and Enterprise Applications to design, test, implement, and improve ERP functionality, system integrations, dashboards, and automation.
- Improve the quality and use of supply chain master data, including supplier, item, lead-time, and planning parameters.
- Develop alerts and exception processes that focus teams on late confirmations, supply risks, shortages, excess inventory, and other issues requiring action.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards for process adoption and performance, including supplier responsiveness, planning accuracy, inventory, purchase order cycle time, and manual workload.
- Lead pilots, document results, incorporate user feedback, and support broader rollout of successful solutions.
- Train and coach teams on new processes and tools; work with leaders to sustain adoption.
- Collaborate with Commodity Management on sourcing-related process needs and supplier issues, while aligning changes with broader supply chain priorities.
Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical and Process Skills- Strong understanding of manufacturing supply chain processes, with working knowledge of procurement and planning.
- Experience improving processes through ERP systems, workflow design, automation, or digital tools.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear process and system requirements and support testing and implementation.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to use data to identify problems, measure results, and guide decisions.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with supplier portals, EDI/API integrations, planning tools, or inventory management systems is desirable.
- Experience with Infor LN or a comparable ERP platform is preferred.

Preferred Experience- 10+ years in supply chain, procurement, planning, operations, business process improvement, or a related field.
- Experience leading cross-functional process or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience supporting ERP or supply chain system implementations, from requirements through adoption.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement experience preferred.
