Supply Chain Specialist Manager

Job Purpose:

A Supply Chain Specialistensures the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from suppliers to customers, focusing on optimizing processes, maintaining inventory, and reducing costs. They analyze data to improve supply chain performance, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate logistics.

The Supply Chain Specialist manager provides end-to-end operations, reviews procurement and will be on top of the inventory control. They play a critical role in minimizing costs, reducing waste, and improving operational efficiency to meet customer demand.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with the supply chain, planning and members of the Operations
  • Procurement & Sourcing: Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage purchasing, including issuing purchase orders (POs).
  • Data Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify inefficiencies, such as bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work with cross-functional teams (procurement, sales, manufacturing) to ensure alignment and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations, international trade rules, and company policies.

Price Quoting:
  • Customer Quote via ModuleQuote system
  • Budgetary quote for special project
  • Cisco quarterly Adder and Pricing (DIMM and eUSB)
  • Follow up of quote feedbacks with Sales

Supply Chain:
  • Price and allocation negotiation with chip vendors (DRAM, Nand, etc.)
  • PO expedites for critical materials
  • Material sourcing from open markets / brokers for critical components
  • Risk-buy strategy and implementation
  • Inventory review, analysis, and disposition
  • Disposal of slow move / dead inventory

Sales forecast by Product:
  • Consolidation of the sales forecast
  • Demand forecast to major suppliers (DRAM, Nand, Controller, etc

Reporting:
  • DRAM global quarterly sales result and share ranking
  • DRAM sot price trend update. Market information update to Sales
  • Nand global quarterly sales result and share ranking
  • Memory vendor quarterly financial result
  • Viking/NPI sales result by OEM and Product category for QBR
  • Sanmina - Viking VI report review and analysis
  • Vendor spend report

Reciprocal Tariff
  • Tariff tracking sheet management
  • Tariff charge review and analysis report

Other Job duties:
  • Update the Sanmina/VI opportunities for Viking Technology
  • Phison turnkey SSD project update report


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
  • 10 - 15 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain software, such as ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite) etc.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal skills for managing vendor relationships and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Additional Skills: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving capabilities, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range (annual) : $90,000 - $120,000.00

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
