- Production calendar: Own the time-and-action (T&A) calendar for every order; track milestones and intervene the moment something slips.
- Sampling: Manage samples against detailed tech packs, keeping development on schedule from first proto to approval.
- Quality and specs: Hold factories to specifications - fabric content, construction, fit and finish - and resolve quality issues with vendors.
- Materials and orders: Coordinate fabric commitments and production purchase orders with the product team.
- Logistics and Project management: Manage freight, customs and inbound shipments, and plan arrivals with the warehouse team.
- Retailer compliance: Make sure every order meets retailer requirements for UPCs, labeling, packaging and value-added services.
- Vendor development: Source, vet and onboard new factories as we grow.
- Reporting: Give leadership clear, proactive updates - what's on track, what's at risk and your plan to fix it.
- People leadership: Supervise and develop our purchasing and production support staff.
