Full Job Description
We have a newly created position for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our Ingredients division in Merry Hill, NC. This position leads and directs all facets of supply chain management including, but not limited to warehousing, inventory management, material forecasting, scheduling, capacity planning, inventory control, in-direct buying.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of Planning, Logistics, Warehouse Departments & MRO buying
  • Coordinates efforts with the Customer Service, Production and Purchasing teams to ensure supply meeting our customer needs
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline process and improve accuracy and efficiency within operations
  • Analyze and manages inventory to achieve optimal inventory levels
  • Manage the warehouse function including receiving of raw materials, shipping of finished goods and organizing of warehouse(s)
  • Coordinate with Demand Planning, Finance & Purchasing to translate customer forecasts as part of the S&OP process
  • Identifies and reviews opportunities for new supply sources for indirect purchases per departmental procedures
  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors
  • Identifying adoption of KPIs as they apply to Supply Chain successes.
  • Maintains numerous department files and records
  • Handle special tasks and projects as requested in order to meet company objectives
  • Perform vendor audits as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 4-year college degree preferred.
  • 5+ Years Supply Chain Experience
  • Purchasing experience preferable
  • Experience in transportation scheduling (in and out bound)
  • SAP experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
