Full Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics. This role ensures alignment between customer demand, production capacity, and material availability to achieve on-time delivery and cost objectives. The Supply Chain Manager drives process improvements, develops high-performing teams, and implements strategic sourcing and planning initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.

Responsibilities:
Business Performance Metrics
  • Achieve on-time delivery performance targets in alignment with business objectives
  • Reduce material lead times by optimizing supplier stock plans and developing alternative sourcing strategies
  • Improve customer lead times through effective material planning and coordination with production scheduling
  • Optimize inventory levels using item and supplier analysis methodologies
  • Manage and reduce shipping and tariff costs through data-driven analysis
  • Prevent stock-outs and production line disruptions


Team Leadership and Operations
  • Lead and develop the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials
  • Oversee the production planning team to align schedules with inventory, labor, and customer demand
  • Manage shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate and efficient processing
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships; negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms


Process Deployment and Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor and manage inventory to balance production requirements and inventory levels
  • Integrate planning across procurement, production, and logistics to optimize efficiency and reduce lead times
  • Implement best practices in shipping and receiving to minimize delays and errors
  • Improve order entry processes to enhance accuracy and streamline workflows
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain effectiveness
  • Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance, risks, and improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-informed decisions
  • Experience with ERP and MRP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics and/or SAP)
