The position works cross-functionally with Global Supply Management, engineering, construction, facilities, manufacturing, EHS, logistics, legal, finance, and equipment suppliers to protect cost, schedule, quality, and tool readiness.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Coordinate capital equipment sourcing and execution activities from specification and configuration approval through tool acceptance and production handoff.
• Support finalization of tool specifications, configurations, construction and facilities interfaces, and hardware-option trade-offs with engineering, site, and supplier teams.
• Enable commercial execution, including RFQ support, bid evaluation, pricing and terms alignment, supplier onboarding, purchase order placement, and contract execution.
• Coordinate supplier commitments for tool build, long-lead items, subtools, delivery schedules, field-service resources, and installation support.
• Maintain clear alignment between suppliers and GF teams for delivery, pre-facilitization, move-in, installation, hook-up, power-on, and site acceptance test readiness.
• Coordinate logistics, export-control, customs, trade-compliance, and shipment-planning activities in partnership with the responsible functional teams.
• Track tool milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, change orders, cost impacts, and schedule impacts; drive timely escalation and recovery actions when commitments are at risk.
• Support factory acceptance, shipment release, startup, qualification, marathon, rate confirmation, and acceptance activities by ensuring supplier resources, parts, and actions are available when required.
• Manage supplier, contract-labor, and subcontractor performance against program requirements, deliverables, schedules, and commercial commitments.
• Coordinate first-fill consumables, ramp field services, spare parts, training, warranty commencement, final payment, and other activities required for a controlled handoff to production.
• Maintain program documentation, dashboards, meeting actions, decisions, and objective evidence supporting capital-project governance and audit requirements.
• Record time and activities accurately against the designated program and work-breakdown structure and support required manager certification and program controls.
• Partner across multiple expansion programs as assigned while maintaining clear prioritization, ownership, and communication.
Other Responsibilities:
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
• Protect GF confidential information and comply with applicable sourcing, contracting, financial-control, export-control, and records-retention requirements.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or a relevant field of study.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, capital equipment, supplier management, project execution, manufacturing operations, or a related environment.
• Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional projects with suppliers and internal technical stakeholders.
• Experience with commercial execution, including RFQs, bid analysis, purchase orders, contracts, delivery commitments, and change management.
• Strong project-management skills with demonstrated ability to manage milestones, dependencies, risks, actions, and escalations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and drive closure with limited supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn GF business systems and reporting tools.
• Language fluency in English, written and verbal.
• Ability to travel to supplier and GF locations as required to support equipment execution and program milestones.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of semiconductor equipment lifecycles, including specification, configuration, shipment, installation, hook-up, qualification, ramp, and acceptance.
• Experience with logistics, customs, export controls, equipment importation, or trade compliance.
• Experience managing equipment suppliers, field-service resources, contract labor, or subcontractors.
• Experience with capital-project controls, cost tracking, change orders, and audit-ready documentation.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, procurement systems, project dashboards, or work-breakdown-structure/time-charging processes.
