Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Material Review Board (MRB) to assess Quality Notifications (QNs).
  • Generate and send Supplier Quality Notifications (SQNs) to suppliers.
  • Discuss issues with suppliers and ensure SQN acknowledgment.
  • Conduct containment, root cause analysis, and preventive action with suppliers for quality issues.
  • Initiate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and work with suppliers to resolve them.
  • Drive product qualification through the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process.
  • Guide suppliers on delivering APQP requirements and validate processes using statistical techniques.

Full Job Description
Responsibilities :
  • Work with Material Review Board (MRB) to review and process QNs.
  • Generate supplier quality notifications (SQNs) and send them to suppliers.
  • s required, discuss with suppliers regarding the issue and ensure suppliers acknowledge SQNs sent to them.
  • Perform containment, correction, root cause analysis, preventive action for the issue by working with the suppliers.
  • Initiate SCARs for supplier caused quality problems and collaborate with suppliers to close the SCARs in time.
  • Drive part qualification following APQP process. Work with internal teams like R&D, supply chain, procurement, etc.
  • Guide suppliers during the APQP process on all APQP deliverables.
  • Use statistical technics to assess process capability, perform process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) before approval of mass production.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree/ Vocational Education in Engineering Science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Well versed with SAP and IT tools (Microsoft suit), etc. will be added advantage.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement Techniques or equivalent.
