Full Job Description
The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and monitoring supplier performance, including developing and implementing measures to improve supplier quality and delivery performance. This role also supports the selection and evaluation of suppliers.
Your Role in Our Team
• Develop and implement internal and external quality standards
• Implement quality standards for on-site providers, review performance, and initiate corrective actions as required
• Conduct installation and supplier audits to evaluate quality performance and ensure compliance with established standards
• Develop and implement corrective measures to address delivery performance issues at both the installation site and supplier level
• Support cross-functional teams in the continued development of supply chain quality processes and tools, while contributing to the achievement of strategic goals
• Maintain process and document control for material quality, including materials shipped directly to third-party suppliers
• Compile, process, present, and maintain procurement-related data and information for internal and external reporting
• Identify emerging trends and opportunities for innovation related to quality performance, EHS standards, and delivery performance
Your Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, or Supply Chain Quality.
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective quality solutions
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% as required by business needs, maintain all required travel documentation (including a valid passport), and obtain customer security clearance within three months of hire.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
• Continuous improvement mindset with a commitment to learning, adapting to new technologies, and implementing effective process and quality enhancements.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills with the ability to build relationships, engage diverse audiences, and resolve issues professionally.
