- Provides pharmaceutical care to enrolled beneficiaries, assisting in managing medications, assisting providers, and ensuring joint commission readiness.
- Conducts periodic inspections and establishes stock levels of pharmaceuticals maintained in the clinic and related areas.
- Prepares and dispenses medications using appropriate techniques and following the health system's policies and procedures.
- Provides concise, applicable, and timely responses to requests for drug information from health care providers and patients.
- Evaluates performance of the employees and gives advice and counsels for performance improvement, and on both work and administrative matters.

to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position. - This position requires the incumbent to have tuberculosis testing.

- The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Position is designated as Inclement Weather Essential. The incumbent must make every attempt to report for work on time and/or remain on
duty during severe weather conditions. - This position has been designated Mission Essential. In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations, the
incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations. - Applicants must be able to fulfill credentialing requirements and obtain and maintain appropriate/relevant clinical privileges.
- Subject to callback requirement to report to duty within 2 hours of notification due to mission requirements.
- Per AR 190-51 Ch. 4-6 "Reliability of persons having unaccompanied access to controlled medical substances", the incumbent will be required to submit DA Form 7708 upon entering federal service, and annually thereafter.
- The employee must obtain and maintain a favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) clearance and access.
- This position requires the incumbent to pass a pre-placement medical and annual medicalsurveillance exam in accordance with Occupational Health requirements.
- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station upto 5% of the time.

Basic Requirement for Supervisory Pharmacist:Education: A doctoral degree in Pharmacy that is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
Exemption: You are exempt from the basic requirements above if you are a current federal employee occupying a position in the 0660 occupational series and have been continuously employed in this occupational series since September 27, 2017 or before. Note: You will be required to provide appropriate documentation to the respective Human Resources Office to validate your status.
License: A current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State, a territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
Medical Requirement: Applicants must be able to distinguish basic colors.
Experience: One year of professional pharmacy experience which includes assisting with overseeing pharmacy functions; establishing overall work to be accomplished; and providing training or oversight to pharmacy staff.
