What is the opportunity?

Supervisory Analysts support the Global Research department in distribution of research product

RBC Capital Markets Global Research is seeking a full-time Supervisory Analyst to cover North American evening hours, Sunday through Thursday, 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM ET (11:00 AM - 8:00 PM PT).

While you'll be part of a collaborative team with regular interaction and weekly conference calls, this role requires a self-motivated individual who thrives working independently.

What will you do?
  • Review equity, commodity, and other research materials for global regulatory compliance
  • Ensure all content meets the firm's established guidelines
  • Coordinate with global staff on formatting, production, and distribution of research products
  • Partner with Research Management and Legal to provide guidance on daily operational issues


What you'll need to succeed?
Must have

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work extended or varied hours during earnings season
  • FINRA Series 16 license


Nice to have
  • Previous experience as an equity analyst
  • Prior experience as an equity Supervisory Analyst (SA)
  • Familiarity with Blue Matrix

The expected salary range for this particular position is $225,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
